    Burn Times

    10 OZ: 40 hours.

    Materials

    -100% natural soy wax.

    -phthalate-free fragrance oils.

    -flat, cotton wick.

    -10 OZ: matte black cermaic jar & bamboo lid.

    -17 OZ: glossy black glass jar & silver metal lid.

    Return Policy: I have a firm no-return policy. In the event that there is an issue with your candle (such as a damaged vessel) please email info@illmanneredmermaid.com with subject DAMAGED TREASURE.

    Read the candle care instructions thoroughly before burning your candle. Failing to follow the recommended guidelines may lead to tunneling (aka an uggo candle). Following the candle care instructions ensures that your treasure will burn evenly and reach its maximum burn time.  

    Dimensions

    10 OZ: 4" tall, 3.5" diameter.

    17 OZ: 3.63" tall, 4" diameter.

    Care Instructions

    • Trim wicks to 1/4" before each lighting. Untrimmed wicks lead to popping, smoking, soot and tall, dancing flames. Trim wicks on cooled candles only.
    • To avoid tunneling (an uggo candle), establish a full melt pool every time you burn. (Full melt pool means candle is liquid across the whole surface.) This may take up to 4 hours. 
    • Use a snuffer to put out flames. 
    • Maximize the lifespan of your candle by not allowing it to burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning for longer periods will lead to larger flames that will cause it to burn down too quickly. 
    • When not in use, cover with lid to avoid collection of dust and dirt.
    • Read and follow the safety instructions on the sticker at the bottom of your candle.

      Tears of happiness

      I ordered this candle as a gift for a mermaid obsessed friend and had the head mermaid send me a surprise scent for my own smell testing and enjoyment. I made the mistake of sniffing mermaid tears before re wrapping it to send on to my friend and had to indian give it because it was THAT GOOD. I love giving gifts and have never kept one for myself like this, but I have NO RAGRETS. Not one. I burned that baby immediately. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy Fine Sailor, too, but this one is to die for. 10/10 recommend. We have since ordered 4 more to sample and if you're wondering about other summery hits - we LOVE the booty. OMG. Mermaid has fans for life in our fam and it's a huge added bonus that these candles are free from harmful additives. Can't wait to get our hands on the fall collection.

      Absolutely Refreshing

      Absolutely refreshing. My first candle from Ill Mannered Mermaid and one of my favorites. This also converted my husband from White Barn fanatic to Ill Mannered maniac if that’s to say something. Can’t wait to get our hands on more 😁

      The perfect fresh scent

      This candle smells amazing. It is perfectly light and fresh and when anyone comes over they compliment the scent. It is also a great candle to light with other candles to blend scents 👌🏼
